Three Sunsets In Arches National Park

I spent three days in Moab, Utah
and each evening I photographed the sunset in
Arches National Park.
Adjacent was the first night - just a few bright clouds over the rock ledge southeast of town.
The rock structure on the right is known as the Three Penguins.

I spent a full afternoon visiting various arches including
Sand Dune Arch,
Broken Arch and
As I returned to the main road from the Delicate Arch Spur Road,
I noticed potential for a magical sunset. I "battled the sun" and
came up with this creative shot.
That pointed rock way out there is Ham Rock near the Garden of Eden section.
|The sunset was unimpressive. However, the subtle shades
behind Balanced Rock
were worthy to display.
