Piece of Garbage Mountain, Colorado (Elevation 12691 Feet)
A Lousy Mountain at Cottonwood Pass Piece of Garbage Mountain (12961 feet) sits directly east of Cottonwood Pass.
For the most part, this peak is useless and annoying, and
most hikers wish it wasn't there. Piece of Garbage Mountain is like the New York Mets baseball team:
it's sucky and irrelevant most of the time. Having said that, if you've got a thing for obscure 12ers in the Sawatch Range, then this is your mountain!
Directions: It's the 12er on the Continental Divide between Cottonwood Pass and Turner Peak. You can't miss it.
