Playing Mahjong On Thanksgiving
Okay, here is a page with three things I did while in New Jersey. On Thanksgiving Day,
my brother Mark and Wendy taught me how to play mahjong,
a Chinese game similar to rummy. Look how interesting those tiles are!
Mark made me a cheat sheet so I could understand the numerical symbols of the tiles.
And look, one of the tiles had this very attractive Chinese dude, and I did my best to imitate him! ;)
Mark loves playing mahjong and I captured a shot of Wendy (right) concentrating on the game.
See how she already had two three of a kinds in front of her?
The day after Thanksgiving, I traveled to the New Jersey shore as part of my recent ritual to see the ocean once per year.
On this day, I traveled to Sandy Hook, a peninsula in Monmouth County located at the northernmost point of New Jersey's shoreline.
A historic lighthouse.
You can see all of my photos from this visit here: Sandy Hook.
Because the nearest Dunkin' Donuts is 105 miles from my home and these shops are very scarce in
the West,
I have been visiting these places daily! At a Dunkin' Donuts
in Sea Bright (along the shore), I bought this nifty Dunkin' Donuts t-shirt. I love it! :)
So Bernie and I visited a Dunkin' Donuts in Essex County, New Jersey.
I snapped this photo of Bernie talking on his cell phone.
Yeah baby! I really loved my vanilla spice coffee
(cream, no sugar) and toasted coconut donut.
Bernie enjoyed a breakfast croissant.
By the way, donut shops has been on my web site before. Check these out ...
Bernie bought those chocolate glazed munchkins for himself. Mmmmmmmm!
A photo of me outside the place. Friends, I am considering making a "Dunkin Donuts Fans" type
of web site for the millions of people like me who are obsessed with their great donuts and amazing coffee. Stay tuned! ;)
