Morning In Leadville - Photos of Mountains

Just a Few Pictures On a Bright May Morning In Central Colorado - May 6, 2009

Leadville, Colorado

This morning I visited Leadville, Colorado, the county seat of Lake County. It is also known as one of the highest incorporated towns in the lower 48 U.S. states. (From what I read, Leadville is in a friendly dispute with the town of Alma, located on the other side of the Mosquito Range, over which one is truly the highest.)

These two photos above inside Leadville were partly inspired by the one and only @michelleflores, a genuine Twitter guru and princess. Michelle grew up in Leadville and I tweeted the left photo of Harrison Avenue on my Twitter profile. :)
