Green Beer

Celebrating St. Patrick's Day

I determined on this St. Patrick's Day that I wanted to drink green beer for the first time in my life. Ahhhh beer is a wonderful treat, and to think one can have it shaded green to celebrate all things Irish!

Special thanks to the Lariat Bar & Grill in Buena Vista for offering green food coloring in their beers. Adjacent are three of my best photos as I sipped on this green liquid love.

As you can see, the green food coloring sat on the foam at the top of the mug. Within minutes, the green descended into the rest of the mug. After drinking about 40% of my green beer, the entire mug was shaded green. :)

I want to dedicate this page to my many special Irish friends out there. A few:

  • @BernardD_Photo
  • @JoyKnows
  • @JMerlot
  • @Julito77 (I think he's Hispanic, but he lives in Boston and cheers for the Celtics. Close enough!)
  • I was so excited that I tweeted via my cell phone about this event on my Twitter page.
