Ah, but Florida Pete (right photo) was unquestionably the one who "wowwed" the crowd with his practical celebrity status on the Colorado Guy discussion forums. Pete has finished in second place in the 2005 and 2006 Hair Consultant elections and is expected to trounce any opponent in Reagan vs. Mondale fashion in 2007.

I'm sorry folks, I know I'm going to sound like a lunatic ... but Florida Pete is a star and a celebrity! Clint Lewis on the Politics Forum called Pete a "a self-sustaining dynamo of rightness" and who doesn't like that funky photo of a guy with a pipe in his signature?

When I first saw Florida Pete at the barbeque, I wanted to run up to him, scream and make a big fuss like the celebrity that he is. Yet somehow I mustered enough self-control to remain calm. We actually had a few meaningful conversations about the Yankees (particularly what I will do on this web site if they win the World Series), about his wife and kids, and about all the funny times he "zinged" Ben, an avowed liberal on the Politics Forum.

Let's face it: Everybody loves Pete! We had so much fun during the week-long festivities. This page has almost every photo I took of Florida Pete and serves as a tribute to the man, the myth and the enigma!
