Colorado Fall Foliage

Fall Photos

This week I drove twice over Tennessee Pass (between Leadville to Minturn) and while I never formally stopped and got out of my car, I snapped photos from the roadside. The first two pictures in this photo gallery were taken on Monday, September 10, 2012.

We're still early in the fall colors season in Colorado, but there is plenty of autumn leaves showing color in this beautiful mountain region.

Fall Season Picture The orange leaves were so much brighter in person.
Autumn Foliage Starting with this photo, these were taken on September 12.

An aspen grove was showing a lot of yellow.

Fall Leaves in Colorado Yellow leaves in the foreground and background.
Colorado Fall Colors The section with the most fall color. So pretty!
