ELECTION NOTES AND RULES

1. A person can become a candidate by announcing before March 9, 2007. The interested person must have a thorough conversation with Steve beforehand and be approved by Steve to officially run.

2. Every person in the world can vote. A person may vote once within their electoral district. If a voter is qualified to be in more than one electoral district, Steve "ColoradoGuy" Garufi (the webmaster) will decide which district fits that person best.

3. Voting will take place from Thursday April 12 to Sunday, April 15, 2006, and specific directions as to how to vote will be given in prominent area of this web site. (Voting ends 3 p.m. M.S.T. on April 15 for all districts.)

4. A vote is counted when there is a clear, unmistakable expression of intent via e-mail, declaration on a forum or one's verbal words. One may also vote by filling out a ballot in the presence of Steve himself.

5. When a vote has been officially cast, the voter will usually receive some form of confirmation as Steve sees best.

6. If for any reason Steve questions the authenticity of a vote or inquires about the identity of a voter, it is the voter's burden to satisfy the authenticity requirements of Steve.

7. Steve may only fire a Hair Consultant for three reasons: 1) His HC says Steve should cut his hair, 2) A one-month period where the HC has no contact with Steve or the forums, 3) They seriously go wacko and act like a drama queen.

8. There are a total of 538 electoral college votes, just like in U.S. Presidential elections. 50% + one electoral vote (270 votes) clinches victory for a hair consultant candidate. In the event, that no one gains 270 votes, the candidate with the highest amount of electoral votes wins.

9. If there is a tie in an electoral college district, Steve will flip a coin to decide the winner.
