My friend Scott in Colorado Springs (who played miniature golf with us last week) came
out to visit for the weekend and these "Colorado snow" photos at Cottonwood Pass seemed
worthy to show off. No comment yet about what the deal is with Scott and the cake at the
Cottonwood Pass sign. ;) |

It snowed the two days prior which created some amazing
snow conditions for September. I added a photo of Brandi standing near the tundra pool
from her visit on July 14. Sheeeesh! What a change in the scenery!

Two views of the mountains looking to the northwest.
Ice Mountain (alt. 13,950) is the tallest peak on the right. |

Some people were doing some tubing or sledding in the snow. :p) |

Scott snaps a photo on the east side of Cottonwood Pass. |
 |
Another view east of the pass. |

I snapped my usual photo of Jones Mountain that is part of my "Colorado Seasons" web site. :) |

Heading back down in altitude, autumn is still showing off some beautiful colors. Here was the view at Cottonwood Lake. |
