Fall Foliage In Colorado National Monument

Pretty Group of Trees ...

October 17, 2012 - A pretty group of trees with fall colors caught my eye in Colorado National Monument, and a short walk on the Devil's Kitchen Trail brought me right to them. No, these autumn leaves don't compare to the aspen groves in the higher elevations of Colorado, but I think they're pretty enough.

The day before, while hiking the Serpents Trail, I noticed those bright yellow leaves and knew I had to return soon.

Western Colorado may not be best known for viewing fall foliage, but we do have some color.

Colorado Fall Leaves Much prettier in person, of course.
