Photos of Colorado Autumn Leaves

My Close-Up Photos of Fall Leaves That Have Changed Early In The Fall Foliage Season

My first Colorado fall foliage photography outing for 2012 ..
September 3, 2012 - It is early for Colorado's fall foliage season, but there are some trees that are displaying pretty autumn colors. It was difficult to capture fall foliage landscape photos, but if I zoomed-in on a particular leaf or cluster of leaves, I had some success. Enjoy my photos!

Of course, you can view all of my fall foliage photos over the years here: Colorado Fall Colors.

Yellow Fall Foliage

Red Leaf
A blazing red leaf hangs delicately. Oh it was pretty!

Some cottonwood trees are changing color. A close-up of yellow leaves. I know ... they're not as pretty as aspens.
Green and Yellow Leaves
My neighbor's tree has a healthy amount of yellow leaves among the green. All photos were taken within ten miles from my home.
