Cave of the Winds Road - Manitou Springs, Colorado


August 2012 - I visited Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs last weekend, and the highlight was my hike to the Teller County high point, located in the Devils Playground section of Pikes Peak. Among the many things I did, I drove up Cave of the Winds Road. Although I know little about caving, I've heard Cave of the Winds is an attraction worth visiting. The mountain views from the winding road are impressive, and I recall biking on it a few times when I lived in Manitou Springs. :)
