|Buena Vista and Northern Chaffee County
Since 2005, I have lived in Buena Vista, Colorado.
I realize that from many people's perspectives, I am living the dream. There is no doubt that
the mountain scenery is stunning, and one's access to trails, scenic drives, fishing lakes, etc.
is usually a short drive away. Even with the common faults of
small town living,
Buena Vista offers so many quality-of-life advantages that make it such a desirable place to call home.
On this page are most of my photography and hiking pages in my eight years ... and there are many!
For a while, I took so many pictures of the same mountain areas,
that I made specific websites that are shown in the large photos below.
By the way, I also include northern Chaffee County and the regions of Nathrop, Chalk Creek Canyon and St. Elmo.
There is a seperate page for Salida and Southern Chaffee County and
Leadville and Lake County.
In April 2006, I began to photograph 14er Mount Princeton from
various spots and during different times of the day. For over six years, I have consistenly
updated this website on a weekly, if not daily basis.
Because I have visited the place so often, a website dedicated to Cottonwood Pass on the Continental Divide seemed appropriate.
Numerous visits to St. Elmo inspired me to create
Promoting the town of Buena Vista with some specialized in-town pictures, but also photos of the mountains and scenery.
