1953 Buick Riviera

Winner of the 2013 Hellman Motor Company Car Show in Delta, Colorado

I'm dreaming of a ride in an old Buick that's loaded with chrome ...
July 20, 2013 - At the annual car show hosted my the Hellman Motor Company in Delta, Colorado, this 1953 Buick Riviera won my heart. In fact, I proclaimed it as the winner of the entire event. So much wonderful chrome. The restored-to-original interior. And that large, stylish and curvy body. My goodness, the makers of Buick did a great job in 1953! :)

The styling of the front of the 1953 Buick Riviera has a similar grill design as the 1949 Mercury, doesn't it? They look like teeth in someone's mouth!

Also, the Gateway Auto Museum has a 1954 Buick Skylark with similar head lights.

Steering Wheel

I was impressed with how the owner kept everything original.

The steering wheel.
The controls on the dashboard.
And check out that clock! :)

No shameless hot-rodding or customizations have been done to this classic old car.
