1947 Cadillac Woody Wagon

Once you've driven a big ol' Cadillac, you'll never go back!
Inside the Allen Unique Autos Museum is this massive 1947 Cadillac Woody Wagon. Isn't she a beauty? Now for you classic car purists, I must say up front that this car was greatly customized. Cadillac did not ever produce a "woody wagon" in its history. Rather, this was a 1947 Cadillac hearse that was transformed into a station wagon, with wood paneling, the installation of back seats and a complete replacement of the dashboard. Still, this vehicle is quite an eye-catcher!

Long and sleek body.
Auto Wood Paneling I love that wood paneling.

It reminds me of the 1941 Packard 120 Woody Wagon at the Gateway Auto Museum.

Two more photos of the front end.

Oh yes, I have many other pages of old Cadillacs:
  • 1906 Cadillac Model H
  • 1947 Cadillac (convertible)
  • 1953 Cadillac Fleetwood
  • 1959 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham
  • 1964 Cadillac

  • 1947 Cadillac Woody Wagon Another view of the rear.
Much of the inside has been customized, including that awful steering wheel. The original dashboard was gutted out and the seats have modern styling. She's still a beauty, though.

    Walking all around the vehicle.
