1913 Ford Model T

A Beautiful Antique Car at Allen Unique Autos
This 1913 Ford Model T sits near the center of the show room at Allen Unique Autos, an auto museum in Grand Junction, Colorado. Generally speaking, I'm not a fan of customized cars -- I'm a "keep everything as original as possible" type of guy -- but the more I inspected this Model T, the more I admired it. And you know what? I like the lavender. Most cars from this era were painted black, and if you've seen one, you've seen them all. This is different. And so beautiful.

Two photos of the front side, including the headlights, front grill, engine and hood. Notice the steering wheel is an original.

As you can see, it has a larger engine, it was given chrome and many high performance gadgets underneath, and of course, it was painted lavender.

If you're an original guy, there's an 1914 Ford Model T kept to its original style in the Gateway Auto Museum.

1913 Ford Model T To go for a ride in this beautiful thing. Sigh!

Hood Ornament Auto makers don't make elaborate hood ornaments like they used to.
